The Experience

You’ll feel special bowling through the double gates and up the drive to this smartly renovated farmhouse. The central building houses five smart suites, the owners live here too, and fanning around the grounds other dwellings await a makeover. The barn with vaulted ceiling will be an impressive indoor swimming pool and games room in time.

Each beautifully furnished suite has its own living area and a private entrance opening onto the central courtyard; from here you stroll over to the dining room for a plentiful breakfast. Tuck into local award-winning pastries and bread, homemade jams, eggs, fruit, honey buzzed in from neighbouring bees. You’ll eat on the terrace when the sun shines.

Pierre and Lesly have a background in hospitality and look after you with grace and ease and can share recommendations. Stroll out for supper, visit medieval Troyes, try bubble tasting at Champagne vineyards or simply enjoy the rural tranquility.

Reviews

An absolutely charming 18th-century farmhouse which has been sympathetically restored. The young, enthusiastic owners have many more plans to expand and renovate to offer even more wonderful facilities here. The rooms and suites are beautifully decorated and the stunning bathrooms offer every comfort. A lovely peaceful oasis in the Champagne countryside.

Introducing

Pierre Josse & Lesly Di Mascio

Pierre and Lesly took over the running of Domaine de la Creuse in 2023. They have lots of plans and ideas, including turning one of the barns into a swimming pool and games room, renovating another barn for weddings and conferences, creating four more suites with mezzanines, setting up a wine cellar to host tastings, and taking tours to nearby food producers and museums.
